Confederatia Braziliana de Fotbal (CBF) a anunțat, luni, că toate partidele de fotbal din această săptămână vor începe cu un minut de reculegere în memoria Papei Francisc. Această decizie a fost luată ca urmare a decesului Suveranului Pontif, conform EFE.

CBF a decretat o perioadă de doliu de șapte zile pentru a onora amintirea Papei și a subliniat sprijinul pe care acesta l-a avut pentru sport de-a lungul anilor.

Papa Francisc a fost o figură importantă nu doar în context religios, ci și în promovarea valorilor sportive, inspirând milioane de oameni din întreaga lume.
