Emma Raducanu primește un wild card pentru turneul de la Dubai

Jucătoarea britanică de tenis Emma Raducanu, clasată pe locul 60 în ierarhia WTA, a fost prezentată oficial ca primind un wild card pentru a participa la turneul WTA 1.000 de la Dubai. Competiția va avea loc în perioada 16-22 februarie și va reunește 27 dintre cele mai bune 30 de jucătoare ale lumii, conform surselor din presa internațională.

Raducanu, care a devenit celebra după victoria de la US Open în 2021, a trecut recent printr-o perioadă dificilă, în special după participarea sa la Australian Open. Așa cum au anunțat specialiștii, revenirea ei la competiții majore este așteptată cu interes de fanii tenisului, care speră să o vadă jucând la un nivel înalt.
