Emma Raducanu, perturbată de un copil care plângea în timpul meciului de la Cincinnati

Jucătoarea britanică de tenis Emma Raducanu a avut parte de o experiență neobișnuită în timpul meciului cu belarusa Arina Sabalenka, din cadrul turneului WTA 1.000 de la Cincinnati. Potrivit site-ului radioteleviziunii belgiene RTBF, Raducanu s-a simțit deranjată de un copil care plângea în timpul setului decisiv.

Raducanu, care ocupă locul 39 în clasamentul WTA, a pierdut meciul într-un meci lung și strâns, în trei seturi, scor 7-6 (7/3), 4-6 și 7-6. În timpul celui de-al treilea set, jucătoarea britanică a fost vizibil afectată de zgomotele și plânsetele copilului, ceea ce a influențat concentrarea sa, notează citează newsbucuresti.ro.

Turneul de la Cincinnati a fost uneori marcat de astfel de incidente neprevăzute, dar reprezentanții competiției au precizat că au încercat să gestioneze situația cât mai bine.
