Clotilde Armand pierde mandatul de senator după decizia Curții Supreme

Clotilde Armand nu va putea prelua mandatul de parlamentar obținut în urma alegerilor, deoarece Curtea Supremă a decis să respingă contestația sa împotriva deciziei Agenției Naționale de Integritate (ANI) referitoare la incompatibilitate. Această decizie este definitivă, a anunțat Vlad Voiculescu, președintele USR București, pe o rețea socială.

Conform informațiilor publicate, USR a câștigat patru locuri de senator la București, printre care se numără Clotilde Armand, Cristian Ghinea, Ștefan Pălărie și Violeta Alexandru. Având în vedere pierderea mandatului de către Armand, postul va fi ocupat de Simona Spătaru, candidatul de pe locul cinci de pe lista USR.

Decizia Înaltei Curți de Casație și Justiție a fost comunicată miercuri, 11 decembrie, când instanța a respins solicitarea fostului primar al Sectorului 1, Clotilde Armand, de anulare a raportului ANI, care a stabilit incompatibilitatea acesteia. ANI a semnalat, în urmă cu doi ani, că Armand a exercitat simultan funcția de primar și a fost manager într-un proiect cu fonduri europene, ceea ce a dus la concluzia că nu poate ocupa o funcție publică timp de trei ani, conform raportului rămas definitiv în instanță.
