Biroul Electoral Central suspendă votarea în străinătate

Biroul Electoral Central (BEC) a anunțat astăzi, printr-un comunicat oficial, că toate operațiunile de votare și pregătirile aferente secțiilor de votare din străinătate se vor opri imediat. Această decizie a fost luată într-un context delicat, după ce, până la ora 18:00, peste 53.000 de români din diaspora își exprimaseră deja votul.

Hotărârea BEC vine la scurt timp, la doar trei ore după decizia Curții Constituționale de anulare a alegerilor prezidențiale, ceea ce a generat confuzie și îngrijorare în rândul alegătorilor. Situația subliniază complexitatea procesului electoral în contextul internațional, dar și impactul deciziilor instanțelor asupra desfășurării alegerilor.
