ANAF confirmă o nouă tentativă de fraudă telefonică

Agenția Națională de Administrare Fiscală (ANAF) a anunțat joi că au fost raportate cazuri de fraudă în care contribuabilii sunt contactați de persoane care pretind că sunt angajați ai instituției. Potrivit ANAF, aceste persoane solicită date bancare sau personale.

Instituția atrage atenția că această situație reprezintă o încercare de fraudă financiară. Atacatorii utilizează tehnici de 'phone spoofing', care fac ca numărul de telefon afișat pe ecranul victimelor să pară că provine de la Direcția Generală Antifraudă Fiscală.

ANAF recomandă cetățenilor să fie precauți și să nu ofere informații personale sau bancare prin telefon, înainte de a verifica autenticitatea apelantului folosind canalele oficiale de comunicare ale ANAF.

Conform informațiilor oferite, 'phone spoofing' se referă la falsificarea ID-ului de apelant, o tehnică folosită frecvent în încercările de înșelătorie. ANAF îndeamnă cetățenii să se informeze corespunzător și să raporteze orice tentativă suspectă la autoritățile competente.
