Galen, N.Y. — Wayne County has recorded its third rabies case in the past few weeks, according to the county's public health department. A cat in the town of Galen tested positive for the disease, the department said. One person was exposed and is receiving treatment. This comes after a racoon from the Lyons/Sodus area tested positive June 3 and a domestic cat from the same area tested positive the previous week.
