Tigarile electronice de unica folosinta, interzise in Belgia incepand cu 2025

Belgian este pe cale să devină prima țară din Uniunea Europeană care va interzice țigările electronice de unică folosință, popularizate în special în rândul tinerilor datorită diversității aromelor disponibile. Interdicția va intra în vigoare pe 1 ianuarie 2025, conform unei informații furnizate de AFP.

Această măsură se aliniază unui program național anti-tabac, având scopul de a proteja tineretul. Inițiativa a fost adoptată în contextul obiectivului European de a reduce numărul fumătorilor din blocul comunitar sub 5% până în anul 2024, față de aproximativ 25% în prezent.

Țigările electronice sunt adesea promovate ca fiind o alternativă mai puțin dăunătoare comparativ cu produsele tradiționale din tutun. Aceste dispozitive atrag în mod special tinerii prin ambalajele colorate și promisiunea unor arome plăcute, care elimină mirosul neplăcut asociat cu țigările obișnuite.
