Tehnologia semi-automată de depistare a ofsaidului va fi implementată în Premier League

Liga engleză de fotbal a anunțat că tehnologia semiautomatizată de depistare a ofsaidului (SAOT) va fi utilizată la meciurile din Premier League începând cu data de 12 aprilie. Conform DPA, acest sistem era așteptat inițial să fie introdus după ferestrele internaționale din octombrie sau noiembrie 2024, sau în martie, însă decizia recentă a accelarat implementarea.

Această inovație tehnologică promite să îmbunătățească modul în care sunt arbitrați jucătorii și să reducă controversiile legate de ofsaid. Potrivit anunțurilor, tehnologia va utiliza camere speciale pentru a ajuta arbitrii să ia decizii corecte în timp real.

Se așteaptă ca noua metodă să transforme experiența jocului atât pentru jucători, cât și pentru fani, oferind o mai mare transparență în timpul meciurilor. Liga a subliniat angajamentul său de a utiliza tehnologia avansată pentru a sprijini și îmbunătăți calitatea jocului.
