Eliminarea controalelor la frontierele interne între România și Bulgaria, începând cu 1 ianuarie 2025

Ministrii de interne ai Uniunii Europene au decis, joi, în cadrul unei întâlniri a Consiliului JAI, să elimine controalele la frontierele interne terestre cu și între Bulgaria și România. Această măsură va intra în vigoare de la 1 ianuarie 2025, ceea ce va permite României și Bulgariei să devină membre cu drepturi depline ale spațiului Schengen.

Decizia este considerată o victorie importantă pentru cele două țări, dar și pentru întreaga Europă. Anunțul a fost făcut pe rețelele sociale de către Președinția Ungariei a Consiliului Uniunii Europene, subliniind impactul pozitiv al acestei hotărâri asupra colaborării și integrării europene.
