Denis-Laurean Popescu, calificat în semifinalele probei de 100 m spate la Campionatele Mondiale de înot

Sportivul român Denis-Laurean Popescu a reușit să se califice în semifinalele probei de 100 m spate, în cadrul Campionatelor Mondiale de înot în bazin scurt (25 metri) care au loc la Budapesta. Calificarea a avut loc marți, iar Popescu a obținut al nouălea timp din serii, înregistrând o performanță de 50 secunde și 35/100.

Semifinalele sunt programate tot pentru aceeași zi, iar Popescu va lua startul în a doua semifinală, unde va avea ocazia să își îmbunătățească timpul și să lupte pentru o medalie. Sportivul român continuă să facă o impresie puternică în competiții internaționale și speră să aducă o nouă realizare sportivă pentru România.
