Daniil Medvedev se califică în optimile de finală la Dubai

Jucătorul rus de tenis Daniil Medvedev, clasat pe locul 6 în clasamentul ATP și principal favorit al turneului, a reușit să avanseze marți în optimile de finală ale competiției ATP 500 de la Dubai. Conform newsbucuresti.ro, Medvedev l-a învins pe germanul Jan-Lennard Struff, locul 46 ATP, în primul tur, cu un scor de 6-4, 7-6 (7/4).

Turneul de la Dubai se desfășoară cu premii totale de 3.237.670 de dolari, iar Medvedev demonstrează, încă o dată, de ce este considerat favorit. Meciul său a fost unul competitiv, în special setul secund, care a necesitat tiebreak.
