Arina Sabalenka rămâne lider în clasamentul WTA

Belarusa Arina Sabalenka și-a întărit poziția de lider în clasamentul mondial al jucătoarelor profesioniste de tenis (WTA), conform newsbucuresti.ro. Aceasta a fost publicat luni, în ciuda eliminării sale surprinzătoare în fazele timpurii ale turneului de la Doha săptămâna trecută.

Sabalenka deține acum 806 puncte mai mult decât poloneza Iga Swiatek, clasată pe locul al doilea. Swiatek nu a reușit să își apere titlul în turneul din Qatar, ceea ce a contribuit la consolidarea poziției liderului mondial.

Podiumul clasamentului WTA este completat de alte jucătoare talentate, dar Sabalenka continue să fie o forță dominantă în tenisul feminin.

Așadar, iar echipa sa de antrenori va căuta modalități de a evita alte eliminări premature în competițiile viitoare, pentru a-și menține statutul de jucătoare de top.
