România conduce Bulgaria în play-off-ul Cupei Davis

În prima rundă a play-off-ului Grupei Mondiale I a Cupei Davis, România a obținut o victorie importantă împotriva Bulgariei, conducând cu 1-0. Tenismanul român Cezar Cretu a reușit să-l învingă pe Piotr Nesterov cu scorul de 6-7 (6/8), 6-3, 7-6 (7/3) vineri, în Sala Polivalentă din Craiova.

Meciul a fost unul foarte disputat, Cretu având nevoie de 3 ore și 38 de minute pentru a-și adjudeca victoria. Această reușită oferă României un avantaj important în confruntarea cu echipa bulgară și îi crește speranțele pentru o calificare în runda următoare.

Suportul fanilor din Craiova a fost de asemenea un factor motivant pentru jucător, care va căuta să continue forma bună în meciurile viitoare.
