Gabriela Szabo renunță la conducerea CSM București

Gabriela Szabo, cunoscută ca fiind campioana olimpică la atletism din anul 2000, a anunțat astăzi că a decis să demisioneze de la conducerea Clubului Sportiv Municipal București. Aceasta revenise în funcție pe 1 februarie, după ce a câștigat un proces împotriva primarului general al Capitalei, Nicușor Dan.

În declarația sa, Szabo a subliniat că nu poate continua să activeze într-un mediu în care "primarul disonor N.D. impune politici care subminează valori fundamentale ale integrității și echității".

Schimbarea din conducere a fost anunțată de primarul Nicușor Dan în iunie 2022, când acesta a declarat că va înlocui-o pe Gabriela Szabo și că va trimite Corpul de control pentru a verifica activitatea CSM București. De asemenea, se menționase că sportiva urma să fie detasată la conducerea Clubului Dalles, însă acum Szabo a decis să se retragă complet din funcția de conducere.
