Consiliul Județean Ilfov va reconsolida Fortul 13 Jilava

Consiliul Județean Ilfov a anunțat că va începe procesul de reconsolidare a Fortului 13 Jilava, cu scopul de a-l readuce în circuitul cultural și turistic. Informația a fost prezentată, joi, de către președintele CJ, Hubert Thuma, care a subliniat importanța acestui monument.

"Este un monument impresionant, chiar și astăzi. Este esențial să cunoaștem istoria, pentru a putea construi un viitor mai bun, mai sigur, în care valorile democrației să fie respectate", a declarat Thuma.

La dezbaterea dedicată Fortului 13 Jilava, care a avut loc joi, au fost prezenți numeroși oficiali, printre care ministra Justiției, Alina Gorghiu, consilierii județeni Ștefan Rădulescu și Voicu Vințeniu, administratorul public al Județului Ilfov, Olivia Ana Ciobanu Oprescu, valamint primarul localității Jilava, Petre Elefterie Ilie. De asemenea, au participat Niculina Moica, președintele Asociației Foștilor Deținuți Politici din România, și Constantin Buchet, președintele Colegiului Consiliului Național pentru Studierea Arhivelor Securității.
