Alexander Zverev se califică în sferturile de finală la Rio de Janeiro

Tenismanul german Alexander Zverev, numărul doi mondial, a reușit să se califice în sferturile de finală ale turneului ATP 500 de la Rio de Janeiro, Brazilia. Potrivit newsbucuresti.ro, acesta a obținut victoria în fața kazahului Aleksandr Sevcenko, impunându-se în două seturi strânse.

Meciul s-a desfășurat miercuri, iar rezultatul a fost 7-6 (7/1), 7-6 (8/6), demonstrând abilitatea și determinarea lui Zverev pe terenul de joc. Acesta este principalul favorit al competiției, care are premii totale de 2.396.115 dolari.
