Tenismanul german Alexander Zverev, calificat în sferturile de finală la Rio de Janeiro

Tenismanul german Alexander Zverev, numărul doi mondial, a reușit să se califice în sferturile de finală ale turneului ATP 500 de la Rio de Janeiro. Potrivit newsbucuresti.ro, Zverev l-a învins pe kazahul Aleksandr Sevcenko în două seturi strânse, cu scorurile de 7-6 (7/1), 7-6 (8/6).

Acest turneu, dotat cu premii totale de 2.396.115 dolari, l-a avut pe Zverev ca principal favorit. Performanța sa în meciuri strânse demonstrează concentrarea și determinarea sportivului german.
