Simona Halep primește un wild card pentru turneul WTA 250 de la Auckland

Jucătoarea română de tenis, Simona Halep, a fost onorată cu un wild card pentru a participa la turneul WTA 250 de la Auckland, Noua Zeelandă. Competiția va avea loc între 30 decembrie și 5 ianuarie, conform anunțului organizatorilor publicat pe pagina oficială de Facebook a turneului.

Această competiție vaoferta un fond de premiere de 275.094 dolari americani, ceea ce îi adaugă o notă suplimentară de atractivitate pentru jucătorii din circuit. Halep, ex-numărul 1 mondial, își va face revenirea în competiții după o perioadă în care a avut absențe din cauza accidentărilor și a provocărilor personale.
