Proprietarii din liga profesionistă de baschet din Nord America au aprobat vânzarea clubului Minnesota Timberwolves

Proprietarii echipelor din liga profesionistă de baschet din Nord America au aprobat, în unanimitate, tranzacția prin care clubul Minnesota Timberwolves este vândut de către Glen Taylor către omul de afaceri Marc Lore și fostul jucător de baseball Alex Rodriguez. Anunțul a fost făcut marți de către NBA, conform agenției AFP.

Potrivit sursei newsbucuresti.ro, tranziția oficială va fi finalizată în cursul acestei săptămâni. Se pare că această mișcare marchează o schimbare importantă pentru echipă, având în vedere implicarea unor nume atât din domeniul afacerilor, cât și din sport.

Conform declarațiilor, Marc Lore și Alex Rodriguez devin noii proprietari ai franchise-ului Timberwolves. Acest lucru îi face pe americani parte din noua generație de proprietari de echipe din liga nord-americană de baschet. Glen Taylor, proprietarul actual, a confirmat această decizie după ce a primit aprobarea unanimă a celorlalte echipe din ligă, notează sursa citată.
