Guvernul declară 2 mai 2025 zi liberă pentru angajații din sectorul public

Guvernul României a anunțat că ziua de 2 mai 2025 va fi zi liberă pentru toți angajații din sectorul public. Decizia a fost luată în scopul de a crea o legătură între ziua liberă de joi, 1 mai, care este sărbătoare legală dedicată Zilei Muncii, și zilele de weekend, 3 și 4 mai.

„Guvernul a stabilit ca ziua de vineri, 2 mai, să fie zi liberă, oferind astfel o oportunitate pentru o minivacanță în perioada sărbătorilor din luna mai”, se menționează într-un comunicat emis vineri de Executiv.

Conform Hotărârii de Guvern, angajații din instituțiile și autoritățile publice vor trebui să recupereze ziua liberă de 2 mai prin prelungirea programului de lucru până la 31 mai 2025. Fiecare autoritate și instituție publică va stabili programul de recuperare prin acte administrative corespunzătoare. Munca prestată în ziua de 2 mai nu va fi compensată cu timp liber, conform reglementărilor în vigoare.
