Eliminarea lui Alexander Zverev în optimile de finală la Miami

Tenismanul german Alexander Zverev, numărul doi mondial, a fost eliminat în optimile de finală ale turneului ATP Masters 1.000 de la Miami, informează newsbucuresti.ro. Zverev a fost învins de francezul Arthur Fils, care are 20 de ani, într-un meci intens, desfășurat miercuri. Scorul final a fost 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

În acest turneu dotat cu premii totale de 9.193.540 de dolari, Zverev a avut așteptări mari, însă nu a reușit să depășească prestația adversarului său. Arthur Fils a jucat cu multă încredere, demonstrând abilități remarcabile pe teren.

Eliminarea lui Zverev aduce schimbări în clasamentul jucătorilor și în cursa pentru titlul la Miami. Jucătorul german va trebui să își concentreze eforturile pe viitoarele competiții pentru a-și recâștiga forma competitivă.
