Jucătoarea română de tenis Ana Bogdan a abandonat competiția în prima rundă a turneului WTA 125 de la Antalya, care are un fond de premii de 15.000 de dolari. Conform newsbucuresti.ro, meciul a avut loc miercuri, iar scorul era 6-1, 2-0 în favoarea rusoaicei Ekaterina Makarova.

Ana Bogdan, în vârstă de 32 de ani și clasată pe locul 160 în rankingul ATP, a fost nevoită să renunțe la joc după 47 de minute.

Makarova, în vârstă de 29 de ani, a profitat de situația jucătoarei române și a continuat competiția, având o prestație solidă în partida de miercuri. Aceasta este o dezamăgire pentru Bogdan, care spera să progreseze în turneu.
