Noul sistem e-SIGUR al Poliției Române devine activ

Poliția Română anunță activarea noului sistem de monitorizare e-SIGUR, care va îmbunătăți siguranța pe drumuri. Acest sistem utilizează camere mobile, cunoscute și sub denumirea de pistoale radar, amplasate strategic pe marginea drumurilor pentru a supraveghea traficul.

Camerele mobile au capacitatea de a înregistra activitatea din trafic în zonele monitorizate. Înregistrările obținute sunt apoi transmise și analizate de către polițiști, care se ocupă de identificarea abaterilor. Conducătorii auto care încalcă regulile de circulație vor fi sancționați conform legii, iar amenzile vor fi expediate direct la domiciliul acestora, fără a fi necesară oprirea acestora în trafic.

În prezent, sistemul e-SIGUR este activ pe autostrăzile A1 și A2, precum și pe Drumul Național DN2 din județul Vrancea. Extinderea acestui sistem la nivel național este planificată pentru o etapă ulterioară, cu scopul de a crește gradul de siguranță rutieră în întreaga țară.
