OMV Petrom începe livrările de benzină către Ucraina

Compania OMV Petrom a demarat livrările de benzină către Ucraina prin transport rutier, folosind o bază petrolieră modernizată din București. Aceasta informație a fost confirmată de importatorii ucraineni în declarațiile lor, potrivit newsbucuresti.ro.

Anterior, OMV Petrom livra benzină din rafinăria Petrobrazi din Ploiești exclusiv pe calea ferată, utilizând cisterne. Această metodă limita numărul de potențiali clienți. Cu noul sistem de transport rutier, compania își propune să crească accesibilitatea produsului pentru cumpărători.

Importatorii au estimat că noua sursă poate susține livrări de până la 5.000 de tone pe lună. Totuși, trebuie menționat că terminalul este disponibil doar pentru vehicule care respectă cele mai recente standarde de tehnologie.

De asemenea, în 2025, OMV Petrom a decis să reducă primele pentru transporturile feroviare de benzină cu 20-40 de dolari pe tonă, ca răspuns la presiunea prețurilor de pe piața europeană. Actualmente, OMV Petrom este al doilea cel mai mare furnizor de benzină pentru Ucraina, având livrări de 283.000 de tone anul trecut, după compania poloneză PKN Orlen.
